A Little Bit About Me!

Unlike several healthcare professionals, I did not always have a desire to enter into the workforce with a dental related career. I picked a path that was I was unfamiliar with, but interested in.

My journey began in 2024 when I was accepted into the dental hygiene program at MSSU. After I began learning, I discovered that my heart was drawn towards this career in much more ways than I thought. As I began seeing patients as a student in clinic, I quickly developed the sweetest relationships with the patients that I worked with. Providing knowledge and care for them in relation to their oral health status and teaching them about improvements they can make to stay healthy provided me a high level of satisfaction in the job I was doing. All while I was learning the basics of patient care, instrumentation, and calculus removal.
